DESCRIPTION:
The LTC 28720 Low Profile Operators Plate is an Ultra Thin and Ultra Lightweight Level 3+ ICW Stealth Plate that offers excellent protection from common rounds and armor piercing projectiles.
The LTC 28720 is manufactured using the highest grade Carbide Ceramic with the latest Carbon Fiber and Aramid backing technology.
An ergonomic multi-curve design combined with a thin profile of 0.5" thick, makes this an extremely comftorable low profile design.
This insert defeats multiple impacts of 7.62x39mm API, M855A1, 7.62x51mm M80 ball, M193, M855 and 7.62x39 MSC.
While this plate can stop projectiles alone, we recommend the use of a Level II or IIIA soft armor backer for 7.62x51mm M80 ball protection and for multiple impacts of 7.62x39 API.
