Incident Replacement Guarantee Terms:
Apex Armor Solutions stands behind the reliability and quality of the products we sell. In the unfortunate event that you are shot while wearing products purchased from us, we will replace it at no cost any time within 5 years from the date of purchase, as long as a police report is provided. This covers all of our products, which includes Body Armor, Plate Carriers, Pouches/ Accessories and Apparel. This policy also covers natural disasters.
Proof of purchase required, warranty starts from the date the order is placed. Police report or internal report (if worn in the line of duty) is required as proof of the incident. Picture of the label and serial number is required as well. This is to prevent fraud, as we are not the only vendors who sell our products, however we are the only vendor who has a warranty of this type.
Only the damaged products will be replaced.
Due to the nature of lifesaving products, all ARMOR sales are final, no returns are accepted after the product has been shipped. Exceptions may be made by Northwest Surplus LLC but will require a 20% restocking / processing fee. Please ensure you are purchasing the correct size (feel free to contact us for sizing help).
Returns for non-ballistic armor products will be evaluated on a case by case basis, however will require a 20% restocking fee.
We will gladly exchange or refund faulty products or if you received the wrong product.
Before returning any product, you MUST obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA) from a customer service representative by Email. We can only process returns and refunds for items directly purchased from www.ApexArmorSolutions.com and filled by ApexArmorSolutions.com. Proof of purchase is required. Your return must be in the original package and include the original invoice received with the merchandise.
You agree to all listed estimated lead times when purchasing a product. Listed lead times are based on information supplied to us from our manufacturers and we do our best to list an accurate lead time. Lead times are generally accurate or products are shipped ahead of time, but unforeseen delays may happen. When ordering a pre-order product with a lead time you acknowledge that lead times may be subject to change.
Cancellations for pre-order, made to order products or standard orders before they have shipped shall incur a 20% restocking/ cancellation fee. This is to cover the restocking fees imposed on us by the manufacturer, as well as to cover our credit card processing fees (which are not refunded to us). This is based on the total value of the order.
Orders may not be cancelled after they have shipped and will be subject to our returns policy instead.
You will receive a credit via your original method of payment. Please allow 10-14 business days for processing of returns and issuance of credit upon receipt by Northwest Surplus LLC. Please note that we can refund the initial shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error.
SHIPPING & FULFILLMENT POLICY
Orders can only be shipped to addresses in the United States.
*The billing and shipping address must match on all orders*
If you are shipping to an address different from your billing address, please email us with a picture of your drivers license or other form of government issued ID. If you do not provide this information to us, we will only be able to ship to the billing address. The same name used on your credit card must be present on the ID. You may redact or cover up your picture, License #, date of birth and all other unrelated information.
This is to protect us from fraud/ chargebacks.
Please note, you agree to this policy when purchasing from us. If you request a refund, we will be happy to, minus our 3-3.5% credit card processing fee (which is not refunded to us by the processor).
Orders will be processed and shipped within 5-7 business days for products that are IN STOCK (unless otherwise noted) (Generally its 1-3 days). Products with a listed lead time are PRE-ORDERS and represent our best estimate for shipment date. We do our best to give the most accurate lead time provided to us by the manufacturer, but delays can happen and lead times may be subject to change.

Large orders (10+ sets) may be subject to longer lead times, please reach out to us if you have questions on specific lead times.
UPS Ground is our Standard and Preferred shipping method. UPS cannot deliver to PO/APO/FPO addresses. USPS will be used for PO/APO/FPO addresses. International shipments require State Department approval and will use best available shipping options TBD. Shipment tracking is available for UPS and USPS shipments.
UPS Ground services are not available to Alaska or Hawaii. Orders to Alaska or Hawaii must be shipped by either UPS Second Day Air or USPS. A $80.00 surcharge will be added for service to Alaska or Hawaii.
Restrictions on the Purchase, Ownership, or Possession of Body Armor are as follows:
It is a violation of United States Federal Law for a person convicted of a violent felony to purchase, own, or possess body armor. In addition, various states also have enacted legislation restricting the purchase, ownership, or possession of body armor by persons convicted of drug crimes, certain other felonies, or other violent crimes. By purchasing body armor from Northwest Surplus LLC you acknowledge and certify that:
You have not been convicted of a felony.
The end user has not been convicted of any other crime that would restrict their ability to purchase, own, or possess body armor under any applicable Local, State, or Federal law ordinance or restriction.
The end user will not use any body armor purchased from Northwest Surplus LLC for any criminal purpose.
The end user is over the age of 18.
The end user will not transport or use any Body Armor products outside of the United States.
Northwest Surplus LLC reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to refuse the sale of body armor to any person or entity. Additionally, the online sale of body armor to residents of Connecticut is strictly prohibited, unless the sale is made to certain law enforcement or military personnel, or through a face-to-face transaction.
Northwest Surplus LLC does not ship any products outside of the United States in compliance with ITAR regulations. By purchasing, owning, or possessing Northwest Surplus LLC systems, the end user certifies that no Northwest Surplus LLC products will be transported or used outside of the United States.
All statements contained herein, or in any other related Northwest Surplus LLC publication of any kind, are not designed to provide legal counsel in any way, shape or form. It is strongly recommended that customers conduct a reasonable amount of Due Diligence prior to purchasing, owning or possessing body armor in order to avoid any legal ramifications.

The Hoplite Armor LLC, Highcom Armor and RMA Armament Inc. body armor system(s) sold in connection herewith shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 60-120 months after the date of issue (depending on the model). AFTER THE EXPIRATION OF THE PERIOD OF TIME THE PRODUCT CARRIES NO GUARANTEE, regardless of the certification or labeling under NIJ standards, and we cannot guarantee performance according to said specifications. Apex Armor Solutions assumes no liability whatsoever for any use or misuse of any armor related products. Please note the 60-120 month timeframe is the expiration of the warranty, not the expiration of the panel itself.
Any body armor system that has received heavy use (for example, moderate-to-heavy denting or bends in the armor, cracks or breaks on the face, panels are heavily abused and worn), regardless of its age, SHALL BE DEEMED TO BE EXPIRED AND AUTOMATICALLY VOIDS ANY WARRANTY IN ALL RESPECTS INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, VOIDING ANY BALLISTIC PERFORMANCE WARRANTY.
Northwest Surplus LLC does not represent or warrant that the functions contained in the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, that the defects will be corrected, or that this site or the server that makes the site available are free of viruses or other harmful components. Northwest Surplus LLC does not make any warrantees or representations regarding the use of the materials in this site in terms of their correctness, accuracy, adequacy, usefulness, timeliness, reliability, or otherwise. Some states do not permit limitations or exclusions on warranties so the above limitations may not apply to you.
Please inspect all armor upon receipt in order to insure that there are no defects or damage caused via shipping. Armor must be notified within 7 days of delivery in order to address any potential issues under warranty. If any defects or damage is noticed please discontinue use and notify email@example.com with photos and order information immediately.
Defense Mechanisms warrants its products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship to the original owner for the lifetime of the product.
If a warranty claim is validated, we will repair, replace or refund, at our option, the damaged product.
Our Limited Lifetime Warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, accident, lost or stolen items, improper care or cleaning, non-standard usage, negligence or aftermarket modifications.
“Lifetime of the product” means the lifetime of the components, fabrics, and materials of the warrantied product.
Materials and components wear out, deteriorate and fade over time, depending on the product’s exposure to the elements and how the product is used and cared for. Our warranty does not cover products that fail or are damaged due to wear and tear.
Repair Policy (Defense Mechanisms)
Defense Mechanisms will repair or replace, at our option, any damaged product covered by the Defense Mechanisms Limited Lifetime Warranty, free of charge. If we determine the warrantied item is irreparable, we will replace it with the same, or similar, item at our discretion. If we cannot repair or replace the warrantied item, we will issue you a refund for the original purchase price or the last known price if the purchase price cannot be determined. If a refund is issued more than 60 days from the original order date, you may be required to set up a PayPal account to receive the funds.
When you have an item that needs repair, contact us and send pictures of the issue. We'll do our best to assess the damage and determine if this is something you can easily do at home, or it's something we need to do in our shop. It's rare, but sometimes a product can't be repaired because of extreme damage.
Repairs for damages outside of the Limited Lifetime Warranty from Defense Mechanisms will incur a base charge of $60, which covers the first hour of work, most materials, and return shipping back to you. If the repair takes longer than an hour or requires significant materials, additional charges may apply. Repair charges are billed to you via PayPal invoice. You are responsible for all shipping charges.
You must contact our customer service team to receive repair approval and instructions prior to shipping any items to us for repair. When sending an item in, include a note detailing the work to be done and include your name, order number, email address, and the address where you'd like to receive the repaired item.
Items sent in for repair must be reasonably cleaned, if an item is too dirty to handle or repair, we will send it back without doing any work.
Please note, this repair policy only applies to Defense Mechanisms products.
Limitation of Liability
Northwest Surplus LLC shall not be liable for any special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials on this site or the performance of the products, even if Northwest Surplus LLC has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Applicable law may not allow the limitation of exclusion of liability or incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
In the event that an Northwest Surplus LLC product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, Northwest Surplus LLC reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Northwest Surplus LLC reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, Northwest Surplus LLC shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.
These terms and conditions are applicable to you upon your accessing the site and/or completing the registration or shopping process. These terms and conditions, or any part of them, may be terminated by Northwest Surplus LLC without notice at any time, for any reason. The provisions relating to Copyrights, Trademark, Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification and Miscellaneous, shall survive any termination.

Please note that we may maintain information about an individual sales transaction in order to service that transaction and for record keeping.
