DESCRIPTION:
The LTC 23707 Multi Curve Level 3+ Plates are NIJ 0101.06 Certified with additional special threat testing for high velocity steel core projectiles.The 23707 is manufacturered with a high density ceramic core and a heat pressed multi layer polyethelene backer.
It is capable of withstanding multiple hits of .308 M80 ball, 7.62x39 Steel core, M193 and M855 steel core at full velocity.
This plate is coated with a black Line-X coating for better longevity.
If you're looking for a high end lightweight steel core rated Level 3+ plate, this is an excellent option.
All LTC plates are manufactured fully in the US, this is the same company who owns the SOCOM Overt (Level 4 equivalent) and Less than Overt (Level 3+ equivalent) which are US Special Forces general issue plates.

After hearing about all the recalls and NIJ test fails from Hesco I decided against getting 3810s. I went and looked for the closest option and the LTC 23707 is what I found. According to Apex these are a better option and more overbuilt than the 3810s without adding much weight. These have a bit of a thicker backer and foam on the front. I valued protection the most so I went with these and I'm really happy with them.
Said a 4-6 week lead time but mine came in 2 weeks, they must've had my size in stock. either way, it was lightweight and comfortable. curve fit really well. Its coated in some kind of polymer spray on coating that seems to make it completely waterproof which is a plus.
These were incredibly well built and seemed very sturdy, yet lightweight. Hope I never have to get shot but im happy with these plates.
