The LTC 23707 Level 3+ Side Plates are NIJ 0101.06 Certified with additional special threat testing for high velocity steel core projectiles.The 23707 is manufacturered with a high density ceramic core and a heat pressed polyethelene backer.
It is capable of withstanding multiple hits of .308 M80 ball, 7.62x39 Steel core, M193 and M855 steel core.
This plate is coated with a black Line-X coating for better longevity.
