The LTC 26148 Triple-curve hard armor SAPI plate is Certified NIJ 0101.04 Level IV Stand Alone ballistic solution.Hoplite private labels (rebrands) these same plates from LTC.
Starting at just 6.1lbs per plate (small) and 0.7" thick the LTC 26148 is capable of withstanding multiple hits of .30-06 M2 AP, 7.62x54R B32 API, 7.62x51mm M61 AP, M80A1, M855A1 and 7.62x39 API.
Hoplite Armor plates are fully made by LTC and they are their OEM.
Manufactured from a high-density, reinforced alumina ceramic core (Al2O3) backed with layered polymer composite fiber and finished in a black Cordura Covering.
The materials used in the fabrication of these plates allows for projectiles to be absorbed within the plate itself, preventing dangerous spall.

These were the only plates I could find with these specifications at this price. I wanted something NIJ certified and Level 4 that doesn't weight a metric ton and these plates fit the bill.
