At just 6.7lbs per plate and 0.7" thick the Hoplite 26135 is rated to stop .30-06 M2 AP, 7.62x54R B32 API, 7.62x51mm M61 AP and multiple hits of 5.56 M855A1, M193, 7.62x39 API etc.
