The 4S17M is Multi Hit rated against .30-06 M2 Armor Piercing, 7.62x54R B32-API, 7.62x51mm M61 Armor Piercing, 7.62x39 API, M855A1 and more!
The multi curve profile on this plate allows for the armor to better conform to your body, which spreads out weight evenly across your upper body, reducing fatigue during long term wear.
These plates are both NIJ 0101.06 Certified and DEA Special Threat compliant.
The NIJ .06 certification on this plate means they undergo severe drop tests during certification and are not fragile or easily damaged.
These plates are of course made in the US, along with all of our other armor.

I settled on these plates after reading favorable reviews and I have to say I agree. Great plates for the price and comfortable. Fits well in my Trex AC1. Easy to shoulder my rifle and the multi curve is nice.
Bought a set of 2 and then asked if I could buy a spare one for testing. Shot the spare one up myself and it stopped 2 shots of .45-70, 4 shots of M855A1, 2 shots of M855 and 2 shots of .30-06. Still didn't penetrate but I stopped there. I don't like trusting other peoples reviews generally, but I see why highcom is so highly regarded now.
These plates get a 10/10 for durability from me lol. I accidentally dropped one on the floor hard the other day right on the edge. I thought I was screwed but it was fine. Passed the torque test just fine and didn't even feel any damage to the edge.
