Highcom's Trooper SPK3 Stab and Spike Resistant Soft Armor Panels provide SPIKE Level 3 high energy stab protection.
This panel is certified to the NIJ 0115.00 SPK3 anti-stab/ slash standard. 
(Remember, the stab certification is completely separate from NIJ 0101.06 Level II/ IIIA handgun protection)

This is an ultra thin and ultra lightweight panel, capable of withstanding multiple stab and spike impacts. This is ideal for officers working in correctional enviroments, individuals seeking protection primarily from knives or to be used in conjunction with other soft armor vests to create a combination system.
 
Traditional soft armor vests are not stab resistant, meaning a sharp pointed object may still penetrate. Remember, they are meant for defeating soft handgun rounds that are for the most part blunt. Knives made of steel would be like an armor piercing round. 
 
These can be put in the same pocket as our Highcom concealable vests to give them stab protection on top of the NIJ handgun protection.
