DESCRIPTION:Introducing the new Highcom Striker High Cut Boltless Level IIIA Helmet. Traditional helmets have holes drilled through them (such as the front for NVG shrouds and on the side for harnesses). While this is standard, it does reduce the structural integrity of the armor in these areas.
To address this issue, Highcom has made a boltless helmet. This means there are NO HOLES drilled through the helmet, which means you get the level of enhanced protection from this helmet 360 degrees around. There are no points in this helmet that are weakened structurally due to through holes.
The Striker ACHHC Boltless Helmet features the same structural and material construction as their lightweight helmets, boasting a primarily Spectra Polyethelene (UHMWPE) construction with layers of Kevlar (aramid) backing to produce an incredibly lightweight yet strong helmet starting at only 1.7lbs (shell weight) and 2.7lbs loaded with all accessories (for a size small).
This helmet comes loaded standard with the boltless rail system for attaching headsets, lights and other accessories, a Unity Summit night vision shroud, a 3 point harness system, D3O blunt force protection trauma pads and helmet velcro.
This is an incredibly good deal for a high performing yet lightweight high cut helmet!
