Description:
The Highcom Striker RCH (Arditi) Enhanced Combat Helmet is a Level III+ Rifle Rated High Cut Helmet.
The Highcom RCH Helmet (Arditi) far exceeds all current US Military and Civilian (NIJ) ballistics and impact standards for helmets, blowing the usual handgun/ shrapnel threat protection standard out of the water. 

The Highcom Striker RCH is comprised of 100% DSM Dyneema Polyethylene and is manufactured using XTclave™  a cutting edge composite curing and high-pressure consolidation technology. 
This helmet is formed in a chamber that is pressurized to hundreds of PSI and hundreds of degrees to bond the layers of Polyethylene together to form a rigid and strong shell that stops rifle threats without excessive delamination (which is what leads to high back-face deformation). 
This combination of materials and manufacturing technique allows for the creation of a lightweight rifle threat helmet, capable of withstanding up to .308 M80 ball, 5.56 M193 and 7.62x39 MSC AT FULL VELOCITY.
 
While the idea of a rifle threat helmet may seem far fetched or impossible, this technology has been present for many years and has matured.
In fact the US Army is currently in the process of phasing out handgun/ fragmentation rated helmets in exchange for rifle rated helmets like these.
This helmet was one of the helmets developed with the US Department of Defense in their original testing trials regarding rifle rated helmets.
Therefore this helmet is actually rated to a proprietary DOD standard for helmets, the NIJ Level III+ rating is the closest civilian rating.

The materials used in these helmets are the same materials used in some of our higher end Lightweight Polyethylene rifle threat armor plates. 
The XTclave™ is a type of autoclave that cures materials using extreme heat and pressure. 
Its this combination of materials and this specific heat curing process that creates such a strong helmet capable of stopping rifle threats. 
Currently there are very few manufacturers who are capable of producing a rifle rated helmet. 
 
The Highcom RCH Rifle Rated helmet was developed with the US Army, it is designed to stop rifle rounds with survivable injuries.
A common misconception is rifle rated helmets will leave the wearer in a vegetative state if struck, this is simply not true for properly made rifle threat helmets. 
Rifle rated helmets such as these use higher end materials and more of it (these helmets are thicker than IIIA helmets), being struck by a rifle while wearing the RCH will be equivalent to being struck by .44 Magnum for a well made IIIA handgun rated helmet. 
The pads included with this helmet are not just for comfort, they provide substantial blunt force trauma mitigation.
These helmet pads are soft when you press on them lightly, but hardens when you hit it hard and fast.

This helmet comes by default loaded with must have upgrades and accessories such as ARC rails for mounting ear protection or lights, a 4 point adjustable harness, D3O Stealth Impact Pads, Wilcox L4 3 Hole Shroud for mounting night vision or cameras and Velcro for identification patches.
The high cut/ SF cut profile of the helmet allows for unobstructed mounting of modern ear protection/ radio communication solutions.
