DESCRIPTION:
The Defense Mechanisms Helion Raid is a lightweight cold-weather combat shirt designed to provide breathable insulation and weather resistance without unnecessary bulk. Built for versatile layering, it can be worn beneath body armor, as a standalone outer layer, or underneath a hard shell in colder conditions. Wind-resistant nylon across the arms and chest combines with a Polartec hard-faced fleece torso to balance protection, ventilation, and mobility during active use. CLIMASHIELD™ APEX insulation adds lightweight warmth while maintaining performance in wet and humid environments.
