The Defense Mechanisms Helion is a lightweight insulated jacket that provides breathable warmth and moderate weather resistance.
Designed to be worn in a stand-alone manner, or as a mid-layer with a wet weather protective shell.
The face fabric is durable and wind-resistant, while a hard fleece panel at the underarms aids in breathability and helps prevent the user from overheating during strenuous activity.
Features:
-2oz/yd² CLIMASHIELD™ APEX insulation performs better than down in wet and humid conditions, dries quickly, packs small, and is easy to clean
-Raglan style sleeves for increased comfort and range of motion
-A drop tail keeps the low back covered during strenuous movements
-Durable Lightweight nylon fabric has a DWR finish
-Large, insulated, zippered hand pockets allow access when wearing a plate carrier and/or duty belt
-Polartec hard-faced fleece sides allow for better ventilation when worn under Personal Protective Equipment, and stretch to enable the easier clearing of the cover garment when the jacket is zipped
-Athletic fit for layering under shells and PPE
