The new structural cummerbund is reinforced internally with tegris, a type of woven, molded thermoplastic.
This gives rigidity to the cummerbund and more overall structure to the plate carrier, allowing for better load bearing capacity on a lower profile cummerbund.
Imagine this as an improved and upgraded Crye SPC with a fully enclosed platebag and a cummerbund that improves upon the Axl Equinox Cummerbund.
The Defense Mechanisms MEPC Structural Plate Carrier is perfect for someone looking for a general purpose fighting or duty rig.
This plate carrier aims to keep a low profile with minimal bulk, while maintaining modularity, load bearing and comfort.
