Introducing our new Apex Armor Solutions™ lineup of tactical gear!
We focused on bringing quality and features that matter to you at a reasonable price.
All Apex Armor Solutions™ tactical gear is manufactured to meet our quality standards, simply put, if we wouldn’t use it ourselves, we wouldn’t sell it, or stand behind it with a lifetime warranty.

These are currently made to order with a 2 week lead time.
As part of our operational changes we have ensured our manufacturers will not deviate significantly from this.

Description:
Our Apex Armor Solutions™ American Chicom™ Low Profile Chest Rig is pretty much just as it says. 😅

This is an American designed (but European made) low profile chest rig that modernized the concept of the original Chinese Chicom chest rig which was meant to only hold three AK magazines and 2-4 grenades.
The Chicom rig has been popular as a low cost surplus chest rig and was often used by MACV-SOG Special forces in Vietnam in lieu of their issued load bearing rigs.

Welp? Guess what this chest rig is meant to do?
Low cost, lightweight, simple, essentials only.
Introducing the Apex Armor Solutions™ American Chicom™ Chest Rig!
Meant to carry just three AR-15/ M4 magazines in built in elastic pouches with two side pouches for flashbangs and or smoke grenades. Just like the OG Chicom.

(But check out our Instagram, we managed to fit 13x AR-15 magazines and 5x Glock magazines into this chest rig)
(Seriously)
(Yes it actually works)
(Yes it's actually still weirdly comfortable)

Features:
-Lightweight construction.
-Heavy duty elastic magazine pouches that keep magazines in place without the need for bungee cord retention.
-Holds 3x 5.56 AR-15/ M4 rifle magazines and 2x flashbang/ smoke grenades.
-Lifetime product warranty
-Manufactured to meet Apex Armor Solutions quality standards and double quality control checked prior to shipment.
-Made in Europe.

About Apex Armor Solutions™ Tactical Gear:
Apex Armor Solutions™ offers a handpicked lineup of plate carriers, chest rigs, tactical packs, pouches and accessories, selected for practical design, dependable construction and reasonable pricing.

Our approach draws on 15+ years of hands on experience with tactical gear and six years of customer feedback.
The goal is simple: cut through the overwhelming number of options and offer equipment we would actually use ourselves.
Before launching this line, we evaluated designs and samples from more than a dozen manufacturers, globally, across Europe, the US and South Korea.

We inspected samples stitch by stitch, checked reinforcement at load-bearing points, and stress-tested seams and hardware.
We placed key emphasis on durable, name brand materials (Such as Cordura fabric, YKK zippers and Duraflex buckles), functional designs and keeping unnecessary weight and bulk to a minimum.

If we wouldn’t use it ourselves, we wouldn’t put our name on it.
We keep our gear reasonably priced so you can put more of your budget toward what matters most: Your Armor.

Warranty on Apex Armor Solutions™ Branded Gear:
At Apex Armor Solutions, we stand behind the gear bearing our name.

All Apex Armor Solutions™ branded tactical nylon products are covered by our Limited Lifetime Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for the practical service life of the product.
Please note this is separate from our Apex Lifetime Replacement Guarantee.
If you are shot while wearing our gear, we will replace anything damaged free of charge, period.

If your Apex Armor Solutions™ gear experiences a covered failure during normal, intended use, we will evaluate the issue and, at our discretion, repair the product, replace the product, provide the components necessary for repair (typically this is only in the case of simple repair like a buckle), or provide another appropriate resolution that is in your favor.

Our goal is simple: if something that reasonably should not have broken, breaks, we want to make it right, period.

Incident Replacement Guarantee:
Apex Armor Solutions stands behind the reliability and quality of the products we sell.
In the unfortunate event that you are shot while wearing products purchased from us, we will replace it at no cost anytime within 5 years from the date of purchase as long as a police report is provided.
This includes all of our Body Armor, Plate Carriers, Pouches / Accessories and Apparel.
Our policy also covers replacements in the event of a natural disaster.
